CHRONOPHAGE: Devourer Of Tomorrows

Cursed by time and fate, Kazeem wakes each morning to the same scenes. To escape the prison the “author” of the day forced on him, he has to change events, despite being stuck into the  background , clawing off-script.

In the desolate Asukyen region of Zriwla, where forgotten cults worship echoes of things that haven’t happened and monsters remember the future, he’s just a part-time scavenger, an insignificant face in the great theatre of the world.

But the world reacts to him. Some creatures fear him before he speaks. Others bow without knowing why. The spirits are curious. The humans are wary. Reality itself hesitates around him, like a story unraveling out of order.

What am I? It doesn’t matter.

Why does the world remember me wrong? Doesn’t matter either.

Fate wants to kill me? Then I’ll fight it and make it mine.

Time wants to imprison me? Then I’ll devour it and walk freely.

And what awaits at the beginning of the end? Who else but me?
