Brennan used to be a regular Esper with a gift to manipulate water. But after an unexpected attempt on his life, he embarks on a journey to understand the secrets of the world’s order and the reason for mysterious sacrilege happening in all corners of Eridu. 

As assassinations spread and a secret force begins to move, Brennan must search for answers in the world of political games, religious fanaticism, ancient mysteries, and, of course, violence. 

Will he be able to uncover the reason behind the attack and understand why Eridu is the way it is? Or will he fall victim to the endless hunger of this chaotic world?
