Burn Reality

The first thing he remembers is fire.

No name. No past. No before. Just white-gold flame in a forest clearing and a body that does not know how to be alive yet. By sunset, the first human kind enough to offer him a ride home has tried to eat him.

Then the Mansion opens its doors.

It is a house for things the world has no room for: a vampire with too many jokes, a dead woman who paints the forest red, a masked monster who serves tea with perfect grace, a silent cook who watches the roads, and Rapture, the courteous old landlord holding reality together by patience and ledgers.

They give the newcomer a room, a family, and the first thing that is truly his: the name Sparky.

But Sparky’s fire is not fire. It does not burn, smoke, or scar. It simply makes things less true.

As Sparky learns kindness, control, and what it means to be a person, the house begins to understand what it has taken in. A boy who wants everyone to be okay is dangerous enough. A boy whose wanting can unmake the world may be the kindest disaster the universe has ever raised.

Burn Reality is a gothic urban fantasy tragedy about found family, monsters, grief, and the terrible arithmetic of trying to save everyone.
