Broken Souls
Synopsis
Shortly before his eighteenth year, the druid Aurea finds himself bound to the soul of a lich. One with a particular bone to pick with his parents, as they were his killers. If that wasn't bad enough, the conflicting nature and proximity of their magics seem to be shredding them apart.
Spiritually and physically.
Nahkriin, a lumberjack with rage issues, finds herself caught between a rock and hell. She desires an escape from a boring existence of day-to-day monotony. Growing tensions between factions, her own mother's hidden past, and a certain druid's cry for help, may be just the thing she's looking for.
There's just one problem: Nahkriin is fueled by a hatred of all things undead. The creature who murdered her father eleven years prior left scars that never healed. When she discovers the truth of the new friend's condition, she'll have to choose between holding onto old wounds or trusting newfound loyalty.
Meanwhile the lich, a former sorcerer named Jackx, has plans of his own.
And the druid's body may be central to them.
Willing or not.
