Blessings of the Despised

Nefret, a princess unwanted and hated by the nearby kingdoms for her "impure bloodline" and her people's "savage" ways ventures to a far off land in hopes of finding someone to one day marry. Ryuunosuke, a despised prince whose eyes paint a target on his back, must live long enough to become Emperor, and he needs a wife one day to do that. The problem? They're separated by more than a sea, and there's not a single person in either land that wants to see the two be joined. Of course, they have more to do than simply securing an engagement. 

Nefret must somehow earn the respect kingdoms that would rather see her people return to the slaves they once were, playing by their rules of etiquette and status, despite how wrong they feel, and Ryuunosuke must face plots against his life and the life's of others in a palace where there's not a soul who wants to see him live. He has the divine beast that bestowed him his Blessing, and his curse, and a fire that burns only to live. Nefret has her quickness to learn and her pride. They couldn't be a better match, but in a world where their power is limited by their youth, just how much can these two despised royals change the fates lined up for them?
