In the vibrant Rio de Janeiro of the 1960s, Arnaldo is a teenager balancing his studies with work at his father’s glass shop, all while secretly in love with Selena. Just as hope of winning her heart begins to bloom, his reality is brutally shattered: a mysterious portal opens in his bedroom mirror, revealing a shadowy creature and a masked man locked in a supernatural clash.

Overwhelmed by rage when he sees Selena in his best friend’s arms, Arnaldo commits an act of violence that unleashes a cascade of tragedies. Pursued by the shadow creature and protected by the enigmatic masked figure who appears in reflections, he descends into an abyss of doubt about his own sanity, seeking refuge in the isolation of a mental institution.

Years later, the horrors resurface, forcing Arnaldo into a desperate battle that drags him into a dimension beyond the mirror—a realm that defies the laws of physics. There, profound secrets are unveiled: Arnaldo has been chosen for a mission of global proportions. To save the world, he must master extraordinary powers that, if misused, could lead to his total destruction.

On this journey between sanity and madness, he will rely on unlikely allies: the unwavering faith of his mother, Dona Rosângela; the discipline of Master Kidu; the scientific expertise of Doctor Fernando; and the protection of Commander Beto. Arnaldo must realize that his mission transcends brute force; he must awaken a love within himself and others capable of transforming hatred, for only then can the crystals’ power heal the evil lurking beyond reality.
