Olympic archer Lizzy Loren went to sleep on a starship. She woke up inside its training simulation—exactly as planned. Almost.

Humanity’s last colony ship uses a massive VR world to prepare its passengers for life on a virgin planet. At first, the simulation works as intended. The glitches are minor. Easy to ignore.

Then the system collapses.

Pulled out to help fix a real-world emergency, Lizzy and a small team discover the ship’s security has locked them out. The controls won’t respond. The failsafes won’t yield. And the only “authorized” path to saving everyone is unthinkable:

Return to the simulation, accept the rules of a corrupted governor AI, and play its leveling game to hunt down the source of the infection—Catalina Evard.

To win, Lizzy must build a team, grow stronger under hostile rules, and uncover why the system seems to know her—while the consequences of failure bleed from the simulation into reality.

🚀 Book Two of Becoming Legend (BL2) is actively updating here on Royal Road. The current story arc is approaching its conclusion, with approximately 15–20 chapters remaining.

🎼 After this arc concludes, I'll be taking a short break from Lizzy's story to write Lyra's Song, the next novel set in the Azure Heroes universe. Once Lyra's journey is complete, I'll return to continue Becoming Legend with Book Three.
