Former Marine Pathfinder Thomas Briggs thought he had left that life behind.

Burned out after years of service, he purchases a neglected Archway expecting little more than a quiet investment. Instead, a classified request from the only man he cannot refuse places him back in command of an international expedition tasked with investigating unsettling reports from beyond his gate.
