Anomaly

Things always tended to break around Kiara: chairs, tables, carriages, her fiance’s head, you get the idea. So when the carriage of the village lord broke near her, it wasn’t really a surprise. What was a surprise was that he blamed her for it, sentenced her to death, and sentenced her family to twenty years of indentured servitude. 

After her death, she awoke in a void, where an all-powerful entity called the World Engine informed her that she wasn’t, in fact, scheduled to die yet. Now, she’ll get a new chance at life, in the body of a recently deceased soldier named Shian Yountal. 

As a form of apology for her having died before she was supposed to, the World Engine grants her a new class, the first of its kind on her planet. The class: Anti-Mage. 

Unable to speak of her experience with the World Engine, and unable to reveal her true identity, she’ll do anything to rescue her family and keep them safe from further harm. Even if it means defying the nobility and upending the current social structures.

- No AI content. Every single word in here was written by yours truly, for better or for worse

- No harem. Occasional romance
