Always Rise

  In a world of humans and Gifted; humans who are born with a rare gene that will grant them a superpower, tensions have eased greatly over the years thanks to the tireless efforts of Valen.  Valen is the strongest of the Gifted and his power has allowed him to change the people’s perspective on the Gifted population.  That all changes when a Gifted, simply known as 'The Beast' unleashes a rampage unlike ever before seen.  With the line between the two races reaching it's boiling point, and World War imminent, Valen gives the people of Earth one final challenge; either they work together to kill him, or he will end the world himself.

      Humanity's only hope lies in the hands of 'The Beast', the one responsible for bringing about these dark times and setting these terrible events in motion.

      The Beast, Carl Byrnes, is not what you would expect from a supposed “monster”.  The tragedy that claimed so many lives was a tragedy on its own, since it happened the moment Carl got his powers with no warning.  The word that best describes Carl is unpredictable.  Will he prove to the world, and Valen, that he can atone and be their savior.  Or will he become its greatest threat.
