Almost True
Synopsis
The author feels it necessary to clarify that these stories are not an attempt to offend anyone’s religious sentiments, weigh in on views of "correct" or "incorrect" history, debunk or support "conspiracy theories," or, truth be told, achieve any specific goal at all. These stories are a sort of intellectual game based on the theme of the famous aphorism: “In reality, everything is different from how it actually is.” Hopefully, they will provide readers with a play of imagination just as engaging as the one the author experienced while writing them.
The order of the stories is arbitrary, and they can be read in any sequence; however, the second part, unlike the first, is bound together by a common theme and recurring characters.
The illustrations for the stories were created by the author using AI tools. Since the author’s command of English is limited, the translation was also assisted by AI.
Enjoy the read!
