Allies Tales - Book 4: Wings of Retribution

Mid-July 2025 marks a year since the battle of Sabre Bastion the previous summer. A nearly two-month period of conflict between multiple factions of Extrahumans and super-adjacent beings culminated in a battle at VALOR’s headquarters. Resurfacing from the shadows after previously escaping justice for his role in those events, the mysterious Dark Angel returns alongside his cunning ally, Cockroach. This time, the duo’s ambitions are bolstered by an alliance with Silent Eclipse, a formidable organization of elite female assassins led by the Woman in Black. As deadly as she is capable of inspiring fanatical loyalty in her followers, the Woman in Black’s history intertwines with Dark Angel's troubled past.

As Dark Angel seeks to exterminate the planet’s super population, Silent Eclipse becomes the weapon in his arms, launching a campaign of terror. The group are augmented through upgrades made possible by the rare and powerful Orichalcum. Also known as Atlantean steel, Orichalcum is as indomitable as its mythic origins. As a metal known for its durability, even the strongest super beings on the planet have difficulty making a dent in it. Silent Eclipse are transformed into lethal foes, specially enhanced to combat Extrahumans.

Various heroes and villains find themselves targeted by the Silent Eclipse. The Supreme Allies, Augmented Allies, the Guardians of Fallgate, even the former supervillains of the defunct Syndicate-all are considered targets by Dark Angel’s forces. The situation demands a united front from the various Extrahuman and super-adjacent teams. Lacking understanding of Dark Angel’s true motivations, the heroes and villains alike work to uncover his past to gain any advantage they can use to throw him off his game. As the Supreme Allies and remaining Syndicate villains discover more about their opponent, both teams become aware of the unwitting role they share in enabling the armored villain’s existence.
