Synopsis
After an offshore drilling operation in the Gulf of Mexico awakens a kaiju buried beneath the sea, Corpus Christi is destroyed, changing Jude and Raul’s family forever. Years later, Jude’s father disappears while working for their uncle, leaving Jude convinced that staying in Texas means ending up trapped in the same life that’s swallowing what’s left of his family. Jude recruits his only friend, Caleb, to help him flee Texas, but their plan begins to unravel when they find Raul injured on the road, wanted by police and suspected of smuggling drugs through the same family business.
