War of The Thirty-Six States

Five hundred and thirty years ago, thirty-six tribes sought to end an age of endless bloodshed by uniting beneath the gods. But before peace could take root, colonization shattered the alliance, plunging the land into a hidden war fought through assassins, divine bloodlines, and chosen champions.

To prevent total destruction, the mysterious Council of Elders created a brutal system: every eighteen years, the thirty-six ruling houses each send forth a single warrior blessed by their god -a Divine Threat- to battle in a secret tournament known as the Convergence of Blood and Spirit. The last one standing gains control over the shadows of Nigeria itself.

For centuries, the war has continued in silence.

Now, after the assassination of one of the strongest Divine Threats alive, a banished son named Damian Osasogie is dragged back into the world he abandoned, a world of gods, monsters, and blood-soaked legacies.
