This Slime Isn't Very Good: A Comedy Monster Evolution Progression Fantasy

What? I got reincarnated as a slime!!

“System? Status screen? Starter dragon? Divine voice welcoming me to another world?”

Nothing.

No golden cheat. No prophecy. No overpowered bloodline.

Just me… a damp green blob lying in a forest, one careless goblin flick away from becoming an evolutionary mistake.

Perfect.

Because unfortunately for this world… I’ve read way too many reincarnation novels to die properly.

So I did what any self-respecting protagonist would do:

I started surviving.

Then splitting.

Then getting eaten.

Then coming back wrong.

Turns out I can divide myself, steal traits, fuse back together… and somehow call it “strategy” when it’s really just panic with extra steps.

But power always comes with… complications.

Every fragment of me comes back with opinions.

Hunger became Maw.

Fear became Pebble.

Drama became… unfortunately, Drama.

And something worse is happening.

The “me” that keeps making decisions? He’s not the only one who wants control anymore.

Especially not Edge.

Edge thinks he should be the main character now.

I’m not sure I disagree.

In a world where slimes are classified as Fodder-class, monsters hunt anything abnormal, and something deep in the swamp has started noticing me multiplying…

I’ve decided on a goal:

Become a Demon Lord.

Somehow.

Even if I’m currently just a puddle with delusions of grandeur.

And I’m not doing too well at it.

Yet.
