Synopsis
Nathan Harris was supposed to leave for MIT in a month.
Instead, the night the world went dark, he found a tear in reality.
A blackout kills every electronic device in Pine Hollow. A famous astrophysicist disappears. A compass points toward the woods instead of north. And at the center of it all, Nathan finds something impossible: a black sphere suspended between two trees, opening onto another world.
Nathan wanted answers. Maybe, somewhere deeper, he wanted a way to disappear.
But when armed men arrive to control the portal, Nathan is thrown through the wormhole and stranded on Veyra: a world of ancient ruins, impossible crystals, political intrigue, monsters, and secrets that connect back to Earth.
To survive, Nathan will have to become something he never wanted to be.
