Torn from his happy life in Texas, Kik is dropped into the lower floors of an unforgiving dungeon, where he's branded with an ancient mark that makes him both a powerful ruler and a political target.

Kik must use his grit, intelligence, and a power that eats away at his memories every time he uses it, to avoid being devoured by a world he barely understands.

On the surface, a pair of legendary brothers and their children have injected their Atlanta street culture into a medieval society full of ancient elemental rulers, during their rise to the top.

Kik must navigate a world where he's the geopolitical event that can turn it upside down, not because he's powerful but because he isn't... yet.
