Neska Aksen knew early on she was different from other snakes, spending her days giving mice big hugs and reading her witch's tomes in a rustic potion shop. A test ritual unlocked her Interface, revealing that she had a prior life as a human before this, and she has the power of Classes and monsters.

Her power is unprecedented, but the monsters who fear Awakened like herself soon learn of her and her witch. She’s forced to flee toward Rivilat Academy of the Awakened, a place with one goal: to bring the fight against the invaders.

With little to go on but a steadfast determination and powers from both halves of her soul, Neska will have to find allies and gather power to survive in this world, and find a way to stop the monsters once and for all. But the hardest choice of all will be what direction her own soul pulls her toward: humanity, or those they're supposed to be fighting against?
