Superior: Hyon

Superior:Hyon takes place within the Star Empire; Where the star empire is recognized as a brutal superstate where magic is dictated by the Astral Index, and the House of Hyon has seized absolute power. Led by the terrifying Matriarch Valerius Hyon, the empire enforces a doctrine of Stasis: the belief that chaos must be frozen into perfect, unchanging order. The world is divided by a rigid caste system: Drifters are treated as fuel; Orbitals are enforcers; and Eclipses and Supernovas are imprisoned weapons. The ultimate goal of the Hyon is The Great Stasis, freezing the entire universe to end all pain and conflict, even if it means ending life itself.

Jinx Hyon: Formerly Jinx Totasuki, a child forged into an emotionless weapon by the House of Totasuki. After being kidnapped and "reclaimed" by Matriarch Valerius, he is renamed Jinx Hyon and groomed to be her heir. Trained in the forbidden arts of the Keepers of the Deep, he wields Astral Shards and ice resonance. However, his mission to spy on a "dangerous" orphan leads him to Andy Praire, whose warm, healing light cracks Jinx's frozen heart, planting the first seed of doubt in the Matriarch's perfect order.

Andy Praire: A 9-year-old orphan in the Drift Wastes with the rare ability to generate warm, golden light and heal others. Unlike the Hyon's cold logic, Andy represents empathy and connection. He is the unwitting catalyst for Jinx's awakening and a beacon of hope for the oppressed.

Art Grave: A 14-year-old commoner who sacrificed his childhood to the House of Hyon Army to save his family. Possessing the rare and unstable Wind Element, Art is overworked, abused, and pushed to the breaking point. After a brutal confrontation with the Verglas, he defects to the Shattered Expanse, finding sanctuary in Drear Village. There, he trains under Ronis, learning to wield his wind not as a weapon of the state, but as a shield for the free.
