Synopsis

Two thousand years from now (present day), the sky breaks open above Serenia.

Ryo Kenzaki is not a chosen one. He is not a prodigy. He is a seventeen-year-old student who once believed the world could be saved through science, through effort, through the stubborn idea that every death had an answer if someone was desperate enough to find it.

Then a girl falls from the heavens.

Her name is Yua Aihara — a black-ops Hunter from a hidden world of blades, gods, monsters, and spiritual wounds called Kizugami. Her arrival drags Ryo into the truth behind human history: the Gates were never myths, the monsters were never random, and the people sworn to protect the world may be the ones most willing to break it.

To survive, Ryo must enter a realm where trauma becomes a weapon, souls are sharpened into blades, and every power comes from something the heart refuses to let go of.

But SAIKON is not the story of a boy becoming strong because destiny chose him.

It is the story of a boy who wants to save the world from hidden truths of the supernatural world.

A story of Hunters and Kaimon.
Of friendship twisted into rivalry.
Of gods made from wounds.
Of science meeting the soul.
Of a fallen star, a broken blade, and the impossible promise to change a world that has already decided who is allowed to matter.

Ryo wanted to cure death.

Now he has to learn what it means to live with the dead inside him.

Expect: cinematic battles, emotional character drama, soul-based power systems, mystery-heavy lore, tragic rivalries, found family, divine horror, and a shōnen/seinen story about legacy, survival, and the cost of protecting people in a world built on sacrifice.
