Permafrost

Muse, a blind prophet of the Solar Covenant, wakes a thousand years after the genocide of her people. A dome has swallowed the entire country, suppressing magic and dragging everything under into an endless winter. Her faith is dead, and her power is gone. What remains is Cain, her paladin, the only one to wake alongside her, and her last anchor to a life that no longer exists. He's also the person she's lying to, convincing him she can still hear their Goddess in an attempt to protect his faith.

To reach the dome's source, Muse needs people. What she gets is a dwarven craftsman keeping them all alive while convinced he's the most expendable one there. A Murim heir who keeps choosing her father's brutality over her mother's taoism, until it costs her the people fighting beside her. And the eladrin only needs them alive long enough to reach the person she intends to kill, and she can't afford to start caring about them before she gets there.

They have nothing in common except desperation and destination. The cold will break body, mind, and spirit. It will not forgive mistakes.
