Of Crimson and Ash

Chime in, to follow the story of a single vampire girl - Karya.
She travels from place to place, looking for work as a mercenary, using the legal system as a way to enrich herself. Follow her feeble attempts at gaining allies, rushed escapes from towns, where her identity has been discovered. Watch, as she fights with skill and abnormal physical abilities, overpowering opponents not for her morals, not for convictions, but for coin. 
Enjoy her rivalry, or uneasy cooperation with adventurers, travelers, fellow mercenaries, and questing knights. 

The world she travels, is full of wonder, mysteries, war, crime, and corruption. Mighty beasts soar across the skies, magicians study in solitude, soldiers fight for their liege lords, and wars are waged over petty squabbles of the higher classes.

The hunger does not want to cooperate with her, and yet it fuels her instincts with bloodlust. Karya tries to mix in with the normal people, but when blood is shed, she's ready to jump in headfirst into battle.

Discover Karya's story in a first-person, journal-like format. I can promise:

- Storytelling, where the world revolves around its own rules, and does not wait for a protagonist's input.

- Limited POV switching, used rarely, and only to showcase how other people see the protagonist.

- 3 releases a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

- Worldbuild is limited to the eyes of the protagonist. You will not be on the receiving end of unnecessary lore dumping, allowing you to stay in focus for the entire length of the story.

- Full acceptance of opinions, criticism, and different views. It is my story, but given to you for your enjoyment. You are welcome to criticize what you dislike, but not all criticism will be followed to the letter.
