Nobunaga's Eyes

by TabisuruShosai Ongoing

Synopsis

In this Sengoku, there is no Hideyoshi. There's only me.

Takanashi Ryota died the way he lived: staring at a screen. Thirty thousand hours logged in Sengoku Musou Online, national #1 ranking, and one truck he never saw coming.

Then he opened his eyes as a newborn in a starving village in Owari — Japan, the Warring States era. His name is Tokichi. The fields are barren, the rice tax is crushing, his mother's cough won't stop, and the village has already decided he's worthless.

But floating at the edge of his vision is something no one else can see: the UI of the game he mastered in his last life. A status window. A Skill Tree. A World Map that paints every enemy as a red dot.

There is no save. There is no load. A blade in the gut kills him for good — and his mother is running out of time.

When bandits come for the village, Tokichi's map-reading saves everyone. His reward? The headman steals the credit and throws him out. “Know your place, peasant.”

So the peasant boy walks to the Oda and takes a spear as a lowly ashigaru. Okehazama. The Mino campaign. The impossible fortress at Sunomata. Faction knives in the dark — and always, the medicine his mother needs.

No pedigree. No sword arm. Just an interface nobody else can see, a gamer's mind honed over two lifetimes, and the stubbornness of a boy who's been stepped on once too often.

The lowest-born child in Owari will become Oda Nobunaga's “Eyes” — the man who reads the battlefield, and the realm.

This time, he becomes someone. This time, his mother lives.
