No More Mister Nice Guy

Ebenezer spent his whole life being the Nice Guy. He wanted to be good and friendly, to be someone everyone could rely on and be treated like a friend to all. And what does he get in return?

He gets laughed at, mocked, bullied, and beaten. His generosity is taken advantage of, and the next thing Ebenezer knows, he’s being forced to do everyone’s homework. 

Things aren’t better at home. His father is quick to punish any mistake Ebenezer makes, while the rest of his family sits back and does nothing to help him. Ebenezer tries to endure the abuse and hopes that one day, his efforts will be rewarded, but he’d be greatly disappointed.

One day, an accident causes everyone to gang up on poor Ebenezer. He’s suspended from school, and his father punishes him further simply for the sake of it. And to top it all off, he still has to do everyone’s homework.

At this point, Ebenezer is at his lowest and on the verge of giving up, but then he makes an amazing discovery that changes everything. He finds out he’s a Gifted, a superpowered individual, and he now has the power to turn his life around.

But what does Ebenezer do with his newfound power? Become a Hero to fight for justice? Hell, No! His days of helping people are over! If people can’t appreciate his efforts as a nice guy, then they can fear him as the newest villain of Poppytown!

As Ethan Sun, Ebenezer would terrorize everyone who ever gave him grief before and make them regret the day they chose to treat him so horribly. He’d become the worst villain his hometown had ever seen.

That was the idea. But Ethan would soon find out that being a villain was easier said than done. And during his journey for revenge, he’ll discover more about himself and wonder if he even wants to become one in the first place.
