Lu Bu: The Mandate Reforged — A Three Kingdoms Kingdom-Building Epic
Synopsis
Eleven days of grain.
That is all Lu Bu has when a modern mind awakens inside the most feared body of the Three Kingdoms.
He should have died at White Gate Tower — remembered as a traitor, butcher, and fool. Instead, he wakes years earlier in Puyang, with Cao Cao still alive, the granaries falsified, the army starving, and his own generals expecting the same answers as before:
Slaughter. Plunder. One more doomed gamble.
This Lu Bu chooses law.
No System. No divine cheat. No easy road.
Only grain, iron, discipline, reform — and a halberd everyone fears.
To survive, he must rebuild more than an army. He must rebuild the foundations beneath it: food, law, military order, agriculture, medicine, engineering, family, faith, and civilization itself.
But reform has a brutal price.
Old soldiers want plunder. Scholars deny his legitimacy. Officials hide behind virtue while families starve. The powerful lock their granaries. Every reform creates enemies. Every law Lu Bu writes must cut into his own camp first.
Can a man remembered for betrayal build a law strong enough to bind even himself?
Law. Grain. Blood. Human bonds.
This is a gritty Three Kingdoms kingdom-building epic about war, reform, survival, family, political legitimacy, and the brutal cost of rebuilding civilization without systems, cheat powers, or easy victories.
Recommended for readers who enjoy serious historical strategy, realistic kingdom-building, political reform, complex characters, military logistics, and logic-driven historical fiction.
Volume I: The Foundation — complete in manuscript.
The story unfolds through four threads:
Empire decides who rules.
Grain decides who lives.
Silk decides who endures.
Canon decides why the new world should exist.
The Tai Yi Canon is a parallel philosophical thread that forms part of the story’s ideological foundation. It may be skipped, but its ideas will echo throughout the main narrative.
