Lady of Broken Glass

Welcome to the continent of Atenna, a tenuous peace between the two major nations being threatened by war and schemes.
this story follows Athénais, a Grand mage of Azurenth as she navigates the growing conflict. Athénais is a hermit, hiding away in her estate, practicing magics and doing medical research until she's called up by the royal family to solve any number of issues that arise. namely military incursions from the Empire of Benti. during one of her missions she comes across a team of scouts from the army and saves them and asks them to be her team.

this is a high fantasy story with a lenient magic system, it isn't all action or progression, it's heavy on interpersonal relationships. 
this story is a mix between slice of life/romance and action. it starts pretty slow, then ramps up pretty quickly.

this first story is finished and i'll publish a few chapters at a time until about half way the slow to three chapters a week
