Synopsis
As a mage, Karutha’s repertoire of spells is as versatile as the items she casts them with are various. In her hands a blade of grass can turn into a blustering wind, and a loop of twine into twisting vines.
Tarkuriks are towering wolf-monsters that harbour a violent hatred for humans and their habitations. When Karutha’s village falls under such a hateful gaze, she must turn her magic towards slowing or slaying the beast. But how much does she have to draw on, and is it enough to stop it?
A single-chapter story.
