Existence is split in two: the waking world, where magic is denied, and Ideworld, its monstrous metaphysical twin. Mages crystallize their souls into Domains, secret guilds hoard supernatural power, and Reality rewrites memories—or strips magic away entirely—whenever the impossible becomes too visible. Alexa has no intention of playing by their rules. But every mask she wears, every friend she tries to save, and every enemy she paints into a corner draws her deeper into a war over who gets to define what is real.
