Alcyr Rivers was no noble-born hero. The System granted him no legendary bloodline, no divine blessing. He was a slave. A nobody.

But he was also someone who dared pursue an impossible dream. Someone who would train till his hands tore and bled, his sword lashing out like a feral beast if it would but grant him one more kill, one more second of living. 

Someone who would dare say five words no sane mortal would say:

“I will become a Saint.”

Yet his dream died on the battlefield. An axe tore through his throat, and he became another nameless corpse among thousands.

Then he awoke on the morning of his death.

Again.

And again.

Each death returned him to the same morning, but every new skill level he earned remained. If fate demanded he die a thousand times to surpass heroes and prodigies, then a thousand deaths to him would only be the beginning.
