Humanity called Rael Ardyn a traitor.
A monster.
A collaborator with “beasts.”

They dragged the High Noble Hero to the execution pillar, accused him of betraying his own race, and celebrated as they burned him alive.

Only at the moment of death did Rael learn the truth:

He wasn’t the monster.
Humanity was.

Every non-human race—beastkin, elves, dwarves, draken—
all slaughtered.
all erased.
all under the banner of “purity.”

And Rael...
the Hero they trained, praised, and used...
was the blade that made their genocide possible.

The System appears in the void and offers him one thing:

A ruthless regression fantasy about betrayal, revenge, survival, and a former hero turning against the world that made him a weapon.

What begins as a mission to stop a genocide does not stay that simple.

The deeper Rael pushes against the Dominion, the more he discovers that “human,” “monster,” “traitor,” and “hero” were never just labels.

They were weapons.

And the Genocide Timer may not have been built to save anyone.
