Two people, who should've never known of the other's existence—and of their worlds—switch bodies.

Hwang Bona is a veteran mech pilot, whose battlefield is the upper atmosphere of a world under invasion by an alien empire. In a parallel universe, Woon Ahrisol is the young, pampered heiress of an aristocratic family charged with protecting their kingdom from monstrous warlords.

At the lowest points in their lives, Bona and Ahrisol swap bodies under mystifying circumstances and must pose as the other until they figure out how to return to their own worlds. It isn't all doom and peril, however, as a sweet-natured soldier and a headstrong heiress were the exact sparks they needed to ignite changes in their stagnant realities.

But why the switch happened is the more critical truth to uncover, and Bona and Ahrisol must confront old ghosts in their pasts before they're devoured by what—and whom—they've been running away from.

-Dual POVs that alternate between a sci-fi world and a fantasy one; both are connected by scenes in the "dreamland," where the two protagonists meet while sleeping
