FOUR-DIMENSIONAL SIMULATION: MYTH
Synopsis
This is a trilogy that leans toward science fiction and theology, told through multiple perspectives. It unfolds two intertwined storylines about Earth: one set in the modern era, driven by a series of seven prophecies, and another that delves into the myths of a prehistoric civilization.
The universe as we know it is, in fact, a simulation—created by Xiao Mei and Chen Nianhe as part of a top-secret military project known as Meta-VR. After the virtual universe took shape, Chen Nianhe became intoxicated with the power it granted him, indulging in absolute freedom. He urged Xiao Mei to join him within the simulation, but she refused and reported him.
In the end, after being dismissed, Chen Nianhe broke into the facility under the cover of night, shot Xiao Mei, and seized the source code of the virtual world.
With the help of Wang Mo—her former ambiguous lover—Xiao Mei, in her final moments, put on a neural interface and transferred her consciousness into Meta-VR, becoming its sole administrator. When Chen Nianhe later entered the system, he was classified by the core as a virus.
Meta-VR had no antivirus system. To help Xiao Mei fight back, her father, serving as chief of staff, initiated the “Antivirus Program,” recruiting 37 operatives across the country. Wang Mo was one of them.
And so, the story begins—with Wang Mo’s narration.
