Synopsis
Chapters 1-21:
Jay Carter, newly reincarnated into the world of Halea, is given three things: the Necromancer Class, a curse that afflicts those who have it, and a Divine Command to break that curse. Can Jay undo the Class Curse before it consumes him or will he become nothing more than a mindless tyrant at the head of an undead army, blighting the world under his feet?

Despite his best efforts, Jay can't stop finding himself surrounded by eyes. The Divine Command has spiraled into something more complex than before, something much harder to accomplish than expected, and it shows signs of continuing to deepen. There are secrets here, unrecorded and unknown, that he will need to conquer before he can accomplish his goals.

Chapters 41-75:
The necropoli await, bearing the secrets of Halea's history with Necromancers that Jay will need to fulfill the Divine Command. Formidable forces work against him, trying to close him in their trap at every turn, and it is all he can do to stay out of their clutches. The question of whether he can overpower his enemies is not much of one at all, so it all comes down to whether he can outwit and outspeed them. With the effects of the Class Curse progressing, and another Necromancer in worse straits at his side, it will be a Herculean labor.

Chapters 76-Current:
Back to square one on his goal of curing the Class Curse and newly separated from one of the only constant companions he has in this world, Jay must find his way to a new solution. The eyes of the gods are on him and the scrutiny of their mortal followers is sure to follow. Backed against a wall like never before, he is forced to retread some of the worst portions of the path he's walked since his re-embodiment. The only question is if it will be enough to dig him out of the fire.
He has a sneaking suspicion that it won't.
