She played otome games. Now the otome game plays her.

Mira, an avid player of otome games, suddenly finds herself in the world of the stat-raising otome game she’s just finished. As if that on its own isn’t bad enough, she’s become the game’s villainess, Blythe Ridge, destined for execution once the heroine attains the good ending of whichever love interest she chooses.

As a connoisseur of isekai web novels, she’s convinced that all she needs to do to escape from certain death is to turn over a new leaf and stop bullying Daisy Willoughby, the heroine of the otome game. Easy peasy.

Unfortunately for her, she soon finds out that she has no say in the matter—her body moves of its own will whenever certain game events have to take place. Everyone around her is bemused by her frenzied scrambling to claim that all her malicious actions, and even some of her speech, are accidental or a misunderstanding.

Mira—no, it’s Blythe now—just wants to escape from the ‘villainess’ label to keep on living!

Note: An otome game often refers to a romance visual novel, targeted at women, with a female protagonist and male love interests. Some include stat-raising aspects.

What to expect:

♥ a long, slow-moving character-driven story that is friendship-centric and romance-centric

♥ a focus on school slice-of-life, (extremely) eventual slowburn romance, low fantasy (It’s more like an urban fantasy, except more … modern-medieval fantasy.)

♥ litRPG system reminiscent of stat-raising dating sims; it will (gradually) become important to the story 

♥ as the blurb indicates, some body horror/loss of physical agency at certain points. MC retains control over her mind at all times. This is the (intial) premise of the story.

♥ inspired by Hamefura [My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!] and other similar isekai'd-into-a-villainess JP light novels (no court politics)

♥ MC is an ordinary teenage girl (not a heroic, always selfless individual)
