A God and Her Shop in the Wasteland

A nursing student wakes as an Arbiter, and discovers that conjured goods can break an economy faster than an army can march. Armed with godlike powers, a stubborn conscience, and very limited patience for nonsense, Becca has to survive a post-apocalyptic world of techno-feudal kingdoms, military buildup, and nobles trying desperately to understand the bizarrely-behaved special officer that disregards all of the rules.

She only wanted food, clothing, shelter, and enough time to figure out how to help the starving folk outside the gate. However, as every sale of food, medicine, metal, and glassware ripples outward, politics, supply chains, and military budgets struggle to contain the new reality with some starting to push back. Meanwhile the desperate start to believe Becca is something far bigger than herself, and it is a race to gain enough strength before powers-that-be come for her new family.

By the time the story ends, Becca will learn that power never comes without price and responsibility, true family are those who can say you made mistakes yet still care, and that sometimes our character is shaped less by what we desire and more by what others need us to be.

All along the way overly-enthusiastic popcorn flies and the cat holds judgmental opinions as is only fitting.

This is a transmigration/isekai LitRPG-lite story about finances, logistics, consequences, family, information, and the cost of trying to improve humanity. Enjoy rational planning, occasional grimness, hard choices, tactical face-stomping when it becomes economically viable, and a world where every barrel, bullet, bolt, and bite matters.
