Portals are appearing all over the world, and two invading alien races are attempting to conquer Earth for their own needs.

Katlyne was reincarnated as a young female human—a child conceived between two prominent hunter families. But her previous race, believed to have gone extinct eons ago, has been waiting for an opportunity to return.

Now Katlyne must figure out what happened to her previous race while finding a way to save her adopted race, humanity, from slavery. She's caught between two impossible loyalties: the ancient civilization she once belonged to and the human world that raised her. This is her chance to save both races, allowing her old race to return to the cosmic scene while protecting the people she's come to love.

Katlyne must do all of this as she tries to figure out what it takes to fit in as a human.
