The Queen's Mage
Synopsis
Serali has spent more than a century surviving the Night Fae court as its favorite secret: bastard daughter of King Vulmar, unwanted proof of his infidelity, and favorite victim of his cruel queen.
When her forbidden magic is discovered, Serali is forced to flee Lyehira before her father can turn her bloodline into his next weapon.
Disguised and hunted, she crosses into Avalusia, land of the Sun Fae, intending only to reach the sea and disappear. But one reckless act of mercy shatters her disguise and lands her in the dungeons of Queen Allandra Luina: warrior, widow, first queen of her line, and sworn enemy of everything Serali is.
Allandra knows better than to trust a Night Fae mage. Serali knows better than to trust any queen.
Neither is prepared for the pull between them.
Ancient magic stirs beneath their hatred. A fated bond neither woman asked for begins to tighten, threatening secrets that could destroy them both. As court factions circle, secrets sharpen, and two kingdoms edge toward war, Serali and Allandra must decide what is more dangerous: trusting an enemy, defying their crowns, or admitting that fate may have bound them to the one person they were never supposed to love.
Note: This book does not take place in the same world as my other stories, it is a separate series with more focus on romance (but still lots of magic and political drama!) I have also been posting this story on Inkitt (user name Lemon_Tea_With_Honey, and the version there will have much spicier versions of some scenes. For Royal Road, intimacy is pared down.
