Synopsis
Most children run from monsters. Luke Mace spent ten years waiting for the chance to kill one.
After watching his parents die to something no one on Earth could understand, Luke is pulled through a portal into a world that should not exist. Ancient races, impossible powers, living dungeons, and weapons tied to the fate of entire peoples surround him before he even understands the language.
Worse, the thing he came to kill is not a monster hiding at the edge of the world.
It is part of the world’s history.
Given a power he barely understands and allies who are just as dangerous as his enemies, Luke has to learn quickly. Every mistake costs blood. Every answer creates more questions. And the deeper he goes, the more he realizes that revenge may be the simplest part of surviving this new realm.
