The Unwritten
Synopsis
Luke wanted to live in one of his stories.
He was tired of failed drafts, cold coffee, and watching his dream of becoming a writer collapse one deleted paragraph at a time. So when he prayed to leave Earth behind and enter the world he created, he never expected anyone to answer.
Then the words came alive.
Now Luke has awakened in Aerthos, a fantasy world built from his abandoned notes, half-finished ideas, and reckless imagination. But Aerthos is not the simple story he remembers. It has grown without him. Cities have histories he never wrote. People exist who were never in his drafts. And the world itself speaks through glowing ECHO words that only he can see.
To the people of Oakhaven, Luke is not a creator. He is one of the Frenzied: dangerous souls marked by living words, feared for their ability to twist reality and leave devastation behind. Some want him protected. Others want him dead. And somewhere beyond the city lies the Black Lands, the unfinished places Luke once named and abandoned.
His only hope is Galeus, an old prophet who knows more about ECHO than anyone alive. But Galeus is missing, the town is turning against Luke, and the strange words around him keep trying to “fix” the world in ways he does not understand.
Luke is not a warrior. He is not brave, trained, or ready to save anyone. He is only a failed writer who wanted to escape.
But Aerthos is unfinished.
And this time, walking away may destroy everything.
