When twelve-year-old Lens Don moves to Iris Town to train as a hero, he unexpectedly becomes one of the five heroes chosen by the Lost Key Prophecy. According to the prophecy, each hero must complete a different trial, and together those trials will decide the future of Avangard.

The story is divided into five connected volumes, each following a different protagonist.

Celestial's Fight follows Don as he hunts eleven legendary beasts and confronts King Dreadixz. Earth's Might follows Olsen as he searches for the Lost Gem before the Lost World disappears beneath the sea. Lightning's Surge follows Prince as he fights to survive and faces his own fate. Water's Merge follows Demaurion as he uncovers the truth behind a lie everyone trusted. Flame's Burns follows Archie as he's forced to choose between two sides that can't both be saved.

Although each volume has its own main character, every story is connected.

If they fail to fulfill a trial, then their universe will be crushed in the hands of Him. And in the end, once they do fulfill the prophecy, then their universe will be as safe as they know it.
