Sixteen-year-old Amber deals with poverty, bullying, and fear on a daily basis. Then she casts her first spell and her life gets a whole lot more complicated.

Magic always has a price, and there are often unforseen consequences.

This is Amber's journal beginning December 28, 2025 and ending December 26, 2026. In it she explores herself through journaling prompts, and documents her life through learning witchcraft, discovering a world of magic and danger, and figuring out life in general.

What to expect:

An epistolary story about coming of age when magic is stepping out of the broom closet and crawling out from under the bed;

A strong female protagonist who is atg a chrossroads and in way over her head;

Occasional profanity, sometimes triggering subject matter, and general teen angst.

This content is one-hundred percent human written. It's deliberately rough to better emulate the spontaneous, private journal of a teenager.
