Synopsis

The Underworld. Limbo. Purgatory. The in-between. It has many names, but most simply call it the world of the dead.

Countless souls wander its endless reaches, clinging to the hope that they might one day be reincarnated. Yet the dead are far from safe. When a soul succumbs to corruption, it becomes something monstrous.

An Abomination.

Rook is a murderer condemned to serve his sentence as a Grim Reaper, hunting the creatures that plague the Underworld. There is only one problem: in a world where everyone possesses strange powers and abilities, Rook has none.

To kill an Abomination, a Reaper must be able to Cull.

To Cull, they must know Death.

But Rook cannot remember whom he murdered...or even how he himself died.
