Graves of Blackwood

They were dead.

His parents and their servants… They died so easily trying to save him…

It was ironic really. His first name was now Graves, his last was Blackwood... And yet he stood here, looking down at the Graves of the Blackwood dutchy, it's sons and  daughters that drew their last breaths. It only hit him now... his new family was decimated and he was the one left responsible for their demise.

If he only struggled more... if he was a tad more greedy in claiming power for himself... If he did not indulge in this world and its beauty that was so different from the time he had on earth...

A small speck of resentment grew inside his mind as he thought of Jay, the hero and protagonist of this world... He was the damn chosen one to save everyone and yet he was so pathetically weak, If only he had his power then...

Graves stopped thinking and drew a long breath. He gritted his teeth and exhaled sharply, forcing a small smile towards his friends, brother and sister. It was now his responsibility to save this world for the sake of its people... and for the sake of his revenge.

General info:

A chapter two times a week. Monday  and Friday.

minimum 5k or more characters per chapter (about 1.5 to 2.5 k words per chapter)

What to expect in this story:

Slow burn. A very weak MC that works hard to catch up to the world and his allies.

The world is gritty and bloody. Expect fights to be gory.

There is a status but it’s not unique to the mc. I will not spam the chapters with status windows, expect them to show up every couple of chapters at most.

There will be occasional Pov changes but most of the story will be told in 3rd person following Graves, the MC.

Mc won’t be all knowing and most of his knowledge will become obsolete due to changes and butterfly effect so if that frustrates you please be patient.

This story is inspired by "The Novel's extra", "The Extras Academy Survival Guide" and "Star-Embracing Swordmaster" but is my original so if you like those then give it a try.
