Synopsis

A boy wakes in the body of the Count’s second son of a brutal empire, suddenly thrust into the burdens of lordship.

Did his ailing father name him heir out of guilt for past crimes against the boy’s mother?

Nobody knows, but one thing is clear: the board Vincent landed on did not reset for its new piece. The game is already in motion, and the other players are moving.

Armed with fragments of a past life he is slowly forgetting, Vincent must navigate a world of scheming nobles, shifting alliances, and unseen enemies. Surrounded by men who test him, enemies who outplay him, and allies he cannot fully trust, Vincent must adapt or perish.

A Note on the Maps: I have included maps to help you navigate the world. I made these in MS Paint because I could not understand how to use map-making software yet. I am still learning how to use it and will update the maps with better versions in the future, but for now, I hope they help you visualize the journey.
