Synopsis
After her father’s death, Lale remains behind the register with his old book of poetry, reading the notes he left in its margins while the city slowly empties beyond the windows.
Some things ask to be saved. Others ask to be released.
In the Margins stands on its own, but may also mark the beginning of a longer story about Lale and the lives preserved in her family’s shop.
