With only a pair of daggers, a sharp wit, and an unlikely companion named Veyrin at his side, he must grow stronger while unraveling a mystery buried for thousands of years.

To find a way home, Alex will have to master powers that defy the System itself, forge bonds capable of changing fate, and uncover why he was chosen before the gods searching for the Core find him first.
