Stuck in retail hell, his days were spent paycheck to paycheck between broke and completely screwed.

Until a desperate god offers him the ultimate side hustle: running a nightly smuggling operation between his bedroom and another world entirely. One filled with spells, treasure, and as much magical contraband as he can stuff into his pockets.

One small problem: The plucky band of heroes destined to save the world failed centuries ago and everything's gone downhill since. The land has become a goddamn deathtrap and for every bit of gold that glitters, there's something trying to kill or eat him - usually both.

But with a reality-bending video game System to exploit, past gaming years as a min/maxing fanatic, and a chaotic god texting him questionably useful advice - he might survive long enough to get things rolling.
