Synopsis

Malcolm H. Beaumont has no fortune, no costume, no symbol in the sky. A young NYPD recruit bound to the soul of his previous life, he confronts ordinary crimes and impossible phenomena while trying to uphold the law in a world soon to be populated by superheroes.

This isn't based on any established DC Comics continuity; let's just say it's a universe created by cherry-picking the elements I like from various other universes. Let's call this universe Earth Alea.
