Chaos and order or the loser gods

by Emerlen Ongoing

Synopsis

Even in space, there are meetings every leader is expected to attend. Even in the endless void, you can be scolded for being absent. The Ethemel are beings who can create and destroy worlds—but they still have to deal with bureaucracy.

Of course, there are always those who find a "valid reason" to skip the assembly. Four forces rule these dimensions:

Chaos — boundless joy, violet.

Order — structure and seriousness, red and black.

Profit — indifference laced with mockery, green.

Peace — kindness and accountability, gold.

Beyond all the universal disputes—trade routes, inter-dimensional borders, diplomatic visits—they are expected to behave decently. Which, naturally, they cannot. A fanatic of Order, a cynic, someone trying to keep everything from falling apart, and an absolute freedom seeker.

To make sure these four don't kill each other directly, they have advisors. But even the advisors argue, creating a parody of the UN.

Which side are you on?

About the Author

This story first began taking shape in my imagination about four years ago. Innim came to me in three dreams, and it was… unusual. I won't spoil it—her abilities will speak for themselves. But everything in this universe is built around her. Emerlen is something I truly dreamed of. The name, however, is mine.

I won't hide it—I did use an AI to help me write the text, because I'm a lazy person. But the plot and the characters are entirely mine. There will also be poems inserted throughout the story, and those I write myself.

This is my first time doing anything like this. Originally, it was all for myself. But I was told that if I published it, it would be something unusual—something new. Though I'm not sure I believe that.
