Born in the Ashe
Synopsis
In the forgotten village of Coava, Constentiam Tenemort is the last-born of a cursed family — every name a death-sentence, every life a slow walk toward the manner of its end. His father will die by wrath. His mother by love. His brother by light. And Constentiam himself bears upon his chest the complete Mark of Ashe, a divine sigil that bleeds gold when the soul beneath it suffers.
He is also nearly blind to runes — the written foundation of all magic — in a world where the illiterate are powerless.
But something older than the gods is watching him. Something that has watched him before, and before that, and before that again. And someone, somewhere, is already telling his story.
Some ashes never die out.
From ashes he was born. To ashes, inexorably, he shall return

What to Expect :
The Architecture of a Tragedy. You won't just read a tragedy — you'll watch one being built, beam by beam, from a single broken childhood. A home made of fear and ruin, a grimdark world where the people, the magic, and the gods all lean toward the same end. Here, everything wants you dead.
A Psychological Descent. A character study before it is anything else: the interior life of a broken child learning a cruel world from the inside.
A Search for Meaning. His life shatters, and shatters again — and still he asks why, and still he refuses to stop looking for an answer. At its core, this is a story about finding a reason to keep walking.
Beauty Wearing the Skin of Horror. The protagonist survives atrocity by turning it into art — blood read as pigment, a corpse seen as a finished canvas. The most unbearable scenes are also the most beautiful. That tension is the engine of the whole book.
Told in Poetry, Not Exposition. The story is carried by metaphor and image. The horror is sung as much as shown — a deliberate, literary read for those who want language, not just plot.
Chapter Titles That Fracture. The table of contents is part of the story. The chapter names break, repeat, and splinter alongside the boy who lives them. It is a structure, not a formatting choice — read it closely.
A Cosmology Named in a Dead Tongue. A dense mythology, steeped in Latin, that never explains itself up front. Present and past braid together, and the true shape of this world assembles itself only for the patient reader.
No Plot Armor. When the story promises a death, it keeps that promise — out of necessity, never for spectacle.
Content Warning. Grimdark seinen, 18+. Child abuse, violence, despair — present out of narrative necessity, never gratuitous shock.
